All the hard work has been done. We have established range from reliable suppliers including a sole NZ distributorship of a major brand. As first time entrant we were finalist in our category in the 2010 NZ Retailers Association Top Shop Awards for our region & believe we were the only entrant in our category to achieve 100% score for customer service/shop presentation & product knowledge. We stock a wide range in a variety of scales (sizes) of radio control on road cars, off road trucks, buggies & truggies in either electric (battery) or nitro fuel (engines) and electric (battery) planes, helicopters & boats. We stock a wide range of spare parts, tools, accessories, & fuel for rc cars (nitro). We also provide a repair & service option in store. We have identified a gap in the market for rc off road electric buggies & trucks at affordable prices for the younger/first time enthusiasts (kids). We stock spare parts for these smaller rc scales too & it is proving to be a big hit with the parents as most department stores once the rc item has been sold there are no spare parts & no offer to repair - we do both :) Marketing & Advertising background: Our store regularly runs a commercial tv ad on Sky TV for the Northern & Central Region of New Zealand and our store is also listed in the New Zealand Telecom Yellow Pages inet site & in the Telecom Waikato Yellow Pages Phone book each year. Bad Boy RC also has an on-line store www.badboyrc.co.nz plus we are on Facebook (our website has a FBook link on the Homepage to take you to Bad Boy RC FBook page). Training & support is available to interested parties.
