Just walk in and its already up and going. We have a great sales and baking team working in our busy bakery. Our customers are able to view our working area in the production area to give them confidence in our commitment to clean and hygienic premises. Our turnover is increasing between 20% and 30% a year since we opened in December 2005. 
Products / Services
Bakers Delight Bakery and Cafe provides freshly baked breads, pastries, savoury and sweet scrolls, chilled freshly made sandwiches and rolls for our customers. Our customers are, 'Grab and Go', Cafe, and customers who buy their everyday and specialty breads. All our preservative free breads and products are baked daily on the premises using traditional scratch baking methods. Add to that the delicious aroma of freshly made espresso coffee (takeaway and cafe) and it is an unbeatable combination. We also provide a service to other food businesses in Hawkes Bay providing them with wholesale products for their cafes, restuarants and wineries. 
Leasehold Premises
The premises is currently leased for a term of 6 years, commencing on the 9/12/2005. Two further rights of renewal on the 9/12/2011 and 9/12/2017. The annual rent is NZ$24,800 plus GST. Addtional payment is required for the airconditioning units and this brings monthly rent to $NZ2183.33 plus GST.

All plant equipment and fittings in the bakery are to be sold in the purchase price. - All production equipment

Day to Day Management
Staff
We employ one full time salesperson, with six part times positions. We have three full time bakers with the franchisee working the production area two days a week. Our first baker starts at 2am, second 3am, and third 4am. They then leave at 10am. 11am and 12am accordingly.
Hours of Operation
We are open seven days a week, the bakery closing on statutory holidays during the year. The cafe bakery is open 6am to 6pm seven days a week.

Hastings is located in Hawkes Bay, in the North Island of New Zealand. Hawkes Bay has been described as a climate most similar to Tuscany in Italy. It is known for its beautiful wineries, olive trees, horticulture, orchards, dairy and pastoral farming. It is located withing 20minutes of Napier which is on the coast and is famous throughout the world for its Art Deco architecture. The city was rebuilt in teh 1930s after it was demolished by a severe earthquake. Hastings has a population of 56,000, the total population for Hawkes Bay is about 90,000. Long, hot summers (about 28 degrees) but only three hours away from the mountains if you like skiing. New Zealanders are friendly, nice people who are interested and tolerant of other cultures.
